The Roots Behind Rural Roots

Rural Roots was born from a lifelong connection to the outdoors and nearly two decades of hands on experience working with gardens, landscapes, and countryside spaces across South Wales.

With a background as a countryside ranger and a qualification in Environmental Conservation Management, we combine traditional skills with a practical understanding of how land and nature work together.

Over the years, we’ve worked on everything from native wildlife habitat creation and conservation projects to estate ground care, garden builds, routine maintenance, fencing, landscaping, and even the construction and upkeep of animal enclosures at a zoo. 

Whatever the job, our approach is rooted in the same core values: honest work, lasting quality, and respect for nature.

Rural Roots is our way of continuing that work independently, offering a thoughtful, reliable service shaped by real world experience and a genuine care for outdoor spaces.
